Annual Summer Picnic
Remember to send us your #selfiesaturday photos!
Mud puddles and rain clouds could not stop over 150 Bigs, Littles, BBBS Staff, Board members and Pitt Student Athlete volunteers from enjoying a fun-filled day at Camp Guyasuta. BBBS of Greater Pittsburgh also launched #SelfieSaturday at the picnic to help ensure that match outing memories are never forgotten!
Cue the "secret agent" theme music and bring on the "villiains". Thanks to the support of The Sprout Fund, Innovation Works and numerous local startup companies, dozens of Bigs and Littles celebrated the culmination of the inaugural year of the STARTup SOMETHING initiative in style at AlphaLab Gear in East Liberty.
The Annual Volunteer Recognition Celebration on April 30, 2014 was attended by over 180 individuals, including Bigs from the Community Based and Sited Based programs, graduating Littles and their families, BBBS Staff, Board members and guests. The event was a collective "thanks" to our Bigs for their ongoing commitment to youth in Pittsburgh.
Think you don’t have enough time to volunteer? Think again!
We are launching an innovative new mentoring program that is a perfect fit for even the busiest parents, executives and traveling professionals. Through mentor2.0, you can still make a BIG impact on a local student – but with a more flexible time commitment.
