Jan Glick
Chief Executive Officer

Jan Glick is the Chief Executive Officer for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Pittsburgh. She joined the organization in the spring of 2007. Jan began her career as a teacher and  has devoted the past 30 years working in the Pittsburgh nonprofit community. She is a graduate of Duquesne University with a BS in Education and a MS in Guidance and Counseling.

 


Sharon Southlea
Chief Financial Officer 

Sharon Southlea is the Chief Financial Officer and joined the agency in 2007. Sharon is responsible for all aspects of the agency’s finances including developing and tracking budgets, maintaining all books of account, monthly financial statements, Board of Director reports, payroll and expense control. She also manages all human resource responsibilities such as benefit administration and implementation and oversight of employee policies and procedures. Sharon is also involved in special event management including our Annual Corporate Roast, Start Something Golf Classic and Bowl for Kids’ Sake. Sharon’s brings close to 30 years of comprehensive accounting experience from a variety of arenas which includes public accounting, corporate/manufacturing and over ten years of non-profit finance management.


 

Tom Baker
Chief Community Affairs Officer

 

Tom Baker, MA, is the Chief Community Affairs Officer for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Pittsburgh. After serving as Vice President of Programs for BBBS for three years, Tom transitioned into his new role in September 2011. Tom is President of the Pittsburgh East Rotary Club, President of the Coro Pittsburgh Alumni Council, President of National Speakers Association Pittsburgh chapter, and Past President of the Pittsburgh Urban Magnet Project.  His little brother, Preston, is a 2010 high school graduate and is a student athlete at Franklin and Marshall College. Tom has also been a site based big brother at Arsenal Middle School and Schiller Middle School the last three school years through the Be a 6th Grade Mentor program.

Washington County Advisory Board

The Washington County Advisory Board supports the development and growth of the Big Brothers Big Sisters program throughout the county. It is comprised of community leaders and mentoring advocates who believe strongly in the BBBS mission in support of local youth. The Advisory Board provides counsel to the program manager, and it helps to generate both financial and volunteer resources within Washington County.
