Steelers' first-round pick Troy Fautanu begins tour of Pittsburgh with trip to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Pittsburgh

Just days after reaching his full potential and lifelong dream of being drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers, offensive lineman Troy Fautanu took some time to hang out with Littles at The Big Draft event. Along with Troy, Connor Heyward, Calvin Austin III, Rodney Williams, and Luq Barcoo had a great time running drill with the kids.

In partnership with the NFL Inspire Change initiative, Big Brothers Big Sisters’ annual recruiting campaign – The Big Draft – inspires potential volunteers to connect with youth mentorship through their love of the game. Locally, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Pittsburgh (BBBSPGH) teamed up with the Pittsburgh Steelers for the third year in a row to present "The Big Draft Event.

With approximately 150 youth on the BBBSPGH waiting list, this partnership brings to light the need for positive adult role models in the lives of youth. The event features both new matches and aims to bridge this gap by facilitating meaningful connections between potential volunteer mentors and youth.
